Checking your Emails 0nline

A quick guide which details how to get your emails when away from your main computer

What is Webmail?

Webmail allows you to check your email from a web browser as opposed to a desktop mail application such as Outlook Express or Thunderbird. This means that you can check your email from any web browser.

Please make sure to log out when checking your email on public computers so that other people cannot read your email.

Step 1:

In your chosen web browser, type YOUR domain name followed by “/webmail” in your address bar. for example “www.nqwebdesign.com/webmail/”.

Step1

Step 2:

A Dialog should appear requesting your username and password. Enter your user name and password, then click log in. Please note your user name will be your full email address. eg.”something@domainname.com.au”.

Step 3:

You can now view your email using one of three applications. We recommend using squirrelMail as we find it the best of the 3.

Emails can be checked, forwarded, replied to or trashed as required.

You can also amend – change functions pertaining to your email from here.

ie:  Forwarding, Auto responders and Filtering etc.
